On saturday the 10th of May the Carvell Coventry Bears travel to Bedford to take on the Midlands Premier new boys.
Bedford have started the season well wih an impressive 100-0 victory over Leicester Phoenix. The Bears will have the work cut out for them if they are to repeat last years unbeated domsetic league season. Head Coach Ty Watson has drilled his troops all week and has named an impessive 17man squad.
Tim Farnden, Chris Brown and Stuart Lee are absent this week on representative duty while Rhiddian Booth and John Nicholls are returning from injury in the Academy team to play Swindon St George.

The Bears convey will be leaving OC Stadium at 1130am Saturday morning.
The Carvell Coventry Bears Academy play Swindon St George away in their opening game of the season.
