Women face Outlaws

10. July 2009

Coventry Bears women face their closest rivals this Saturday at home when they entertain Nottingham Outlaws at the Old Coventrians. The Bears are still under-strength this season with lots of players still out with injuries but are still looking forward to giving the Nottingham outfit a run for their money.
This is going to be an exciting game and the Bears are looking for revenge after their loss when they went to nottingham earleir in the season. “We are staring to pay really good rugby and after the last 2 games have really pulled the squad together and are looking better than ever. We have a lot of young girls playing, who are getting better with every game that they play”.said coach. Michelle Umaga. Michelle went on to say “We have been really impressed with how the girls are playing we may have suffered a few losses but we have played exceptionally well and the girls are starting to find some belief. The older girls are really playing well and are showing the new girls the ropes. The forwards are really doing somem good work and hopefully this Saturday will see them have another great game.
