“The Local Network Fund for Children and Young People is aimed at tackling disadvantage by allowing children and young people to express their opinions and contribute to improving policies and service issues that concern them. Local Network Funding comes from the Department for Education and Skills, has a maximum grant of £7000 for projects that benefit under 19 year olds and links to the Governments ‘Every Child Matters’ strategy.
